This course prepares you to work effectively and
safely in an electrotechnical environment and is ideal for anyone who
wants to become a fully qualified electrician.
The course consists of classroom based theory and practical sessions in the workshop. Assessment will be through a practical exercises.

What topics will I study?
You will study a number of units including
working effectively and safely in an electronically environment, the
principles of technology, application of health and safety and
electrical principles and the installation of electricity in buildings
and structures. You will be required to demonstrate safe working
practices. Functional Skills are essential units of this course.
